Peter has 25 years of high-stakes litigation experience. During that time he has been involved in every phase and aspect of litigation from filing to final judgment. He has represented individual inventors before the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) as well as Fortune 500 companies in multi-district litigation involving dozens of patents.
Peter serves as trial and appellate counsel in patent infringement and other commercial litigation cases. He has litigated cases all over the country, but primarily in Texas where he resides. Peter is responsible for all phases of litigation from initial pleading to appeals -- setting case strategy, conducting discovery, drafting and arguing motions, examining witnesses, preparing expert reports, and mediating settlements. As a result of his success in the courtroom, Peter has been recognized by his peers as a Texas Super Lawyer in IP Litigation for the past several years.
Peter harnesses all his big-ticket patent litigation experience in his representation before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) including inter partes review (IPR), covered business method review (CBM), and post grant review (PGR).
He advises clients on trademark, copyright, trade secret, licensing, and transactional intellectual property related issues. Peter also serves as a technical advisor, special master, and mediator/arbitrator in intellectual property disputes, particularly those involving the electrical and computer arts.
